Magnetic Artists are sponsoring an event to benefit disaster relief in Haiti. Proceeds will benefit the Haiti disaster relief fund to help assist with the recent earthquake that has left Haiti in ruins.
$5 dollars from each ticket sale will be donated to the Haiti Disaster Relief Fund to help with food, medical and other much needed supplies to help aid the Haitian people in this time of crisis.

[Heavy Pressure / Konkrete Jungle]Heralded as one of the United States original dubsteppers, Moldy is known for his mind-bending DJ sets and thoughtful productions. A veteran DJ of over a decade, he cut his teeth spinning dub plates of his original drum & bass in Boston before moving to New York City; it was there that he became established as an early proponent of US dubstep by way of the legendary Dub War and Konkrete Jungle parties. He is the founder of Heavy Pressure Recordings and currently hails from Portland, Maine.

DC has been involved with the electronic dance music scene in Boston and the northeast since 1993. He got his start with legendary Monstamind Crew. Know for a series of breakbeat events Monstamind brought us names such as Reel Drama, Trixie, Mizta Lez, etc.. In the years to follow DC Aka Dave Calculator has steadily risen through the ranks. He was a Boston Breaks founder and resident at the famed Tension weekly at the Phoenix Landing. Firmly entrenched in the Northeast he has shared the stage with names such as Reid Speed, The Rogue Element, The Freestylers, John B, Tommie Sunshine, Brazen, Melee, and Kares to name a few.
Currently DC appears every Saturday night along with DJ Endo on Algorhythms 88.1fm. Bringing a much needed dose of electronic music to the airwaves around Boston Mass.

Stryknyne

Having discovering a drum kit in his Fathers cellar at the age of 7 Stryknyne has been in love with the percussive beats of drums for what is 30 plus years now. This self taught musician began playing up and down to the radio dial as a kid overlapping his beats with what was being broadcasted on the airwaves. This welding of the music has never left his soul not for a second.Early 2000 became the discovery Drum & Bass after hearing a soul shatter set from Dj Rap at a Connecticut underground event; his eyes were opened to something from his past. Quickly amassing the gear and records for hooking these beat trains together, Stryknyne went forward to the Portland electronic scene. It was there he was brought within to the Digital Mercenaries break beat collective. Spanning the decade Stryknyne has put forth efforts and performances along with Dj’s Elusid, JonEK@t, Dj Corbin and a running tag team duo with Illogik. Previous events have included The Digital Underground, Drunk-N-Bass and now the current 180BPM night in Portland Me.
Stryknyne also hammers the internet with radio shows on popular drum n bass sites such as dnbradio.com and jungletrain.net. In more recent years Stryknyne has covered prestigious bookings at “Elements” in Boston with Crook & Lenore and multiple Beltek Festival appearances. Stryknyne has had the opportunities of playing along side of upfront producers such as Telemetrik, John B, Reid Speed, Dara and DB. His sound is complex, upbeat and seriously danceable. Stryknyne goes from dark to uplifting and his sets are jammed up with the love of drums pressed onto vinyl making them work as one. Keep an eye and and ear open in the near future, production is on the horizon.
